It’s been one heck of a week following the Republican National Convention. The shenanigans during the GOP Convention made for some gut-busting laughter and excellent entertainment. Admit it, Trump’s definitely a seasoned entertainer. Politician, hmmm. All jokes aside, the jury is still out on that one.
From the Melania Trump plagiarism controversy to Ted Cruz refusing to endorse Donald Trump, I am still laughing my “A” double “s” off!
Who said this? “Something is terribly wrong when… speaker says âvote your conscienceâ and gets booed. I mean, I never thought I would say these words, but Ted Cruz was right…”
One would think the Trump Campaign would have done the right thing and told the truth, which would have ended the plagiarism scandal much sooner. Nevertheless, it kept the world laughing for days. In fact, it was one of the biggest talking points of the 2016 Republican National Convention. The jokes on SNL as well as the funny memes on social media pages really put things in perspective. This should be a teachable moment for everyone that do not understand the true costs of plagiarism.
Flashback Friday
When I checked Facebook today, it reminded me of a photo from four years ago accepting the You Make a Difference Award from the Arkansas Democratic Black Caucus (ADBC) for volunteer service. This picture brought so many good memories to mind of my time volunteering not only with the ADBC, but also for several other organizations and nonprofits while in college. Although the Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates the value of volunteer time to be $23.56 per hour, the time spent working to help get Democrats elected in my book is priceless.

I don’t place any blame on any spouse, they’re not politicians and rely on the professionals to make certain all is “politically” correct.

Thanks for sharing. This video is hilarious. Agreed. The campaign should have really reviewed it better prior to her speaking.
