I just finished watching the Goal Setting Workshop – Get Ready for 2018 by WP Elevation. It was over an hour and a half, but worth it. I watched as drank my lunch, butternut squash bisque. I am on day 2 of a 40 day liquid fast (more about that later).
The guys shared helpful tips and resources such as how to use Trello for yearly planning; Year Compass a free booklet that helps close your year and plan the next one; and an article on How to Stay Productive using the Rocks method. If you are feeling overwhelmed because you have too much to do, you might want to give the article a read.Their video and resources really got me to thinking about setting a few goals for Keep It 💯 with Human Resources.
Let me be real with you. Over the past few years, writing has been a challenge. Ideas pop in my head (come and go) all the time. However, I need to make (set aside) time to get more post out!
Sure, I write in my personal journal almost every day, but not for my blog. Yikes! Although I am somewhat pleased with the progress of this blog, I want it to grow. I have so much more I want to share with you. What’s more, I want to expand its reach in 2018. Goal setting is a good start.
Remember, goals should be SMART: specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-oriented. As you may recall, some people also prefer to call them specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time based. Well, I hope you get the big picture. Here are five goals for 2018.

- Share a minimum of two weekly post (100+ posts)
- Add a monthly feature (12 posts)
- Build followers to 200 by December
- Share 10 personal stories about life and the workplace
- Write a book
There you have it! Five goals for Keeping It 💯 with Human Resources blog. That wasn’t to hard. I must be more consistent. Now, on to planning… I have so much writing to do!
